Privacy Policy
This page explains the information 247 Cleaning Solutions may collect through this website, booking system and client portal, why it is used, and the practical steps we take to protect it.
We collect information to provide and manage cleaning services
247 Cleaning Solutions uses this website to answer enquiries, provide cleaning estimates, accept booking requests, manage client and staff accounts, assign work, record job progress, issue invoices and support quality review. The information collected through those functions is used to operate the service and communicate with the people who request it. We do not need customers to provide more information than is reasonably required for the booking, account or support request they are making.
Information you may provide includes your name, email address, phone number, service address, property type, approximate size, room or bathroom count, preferred service date and time, cleaning frequency and special instructions. Special instructions can include practical details such as parking, concierge procedures, pets, building access or rooms that should receive additional attention. Because those notes can relate to access to a home or workplace, customers should avoid including passwords, payment card information or other secrets that are not necessary for the cleaning service.
If you create a client, staff or administrator account, the system also stores account information such as your display name, email address, role, account status and a securely hashed version of your password. Passwords are not stored in readable plain text. The application uses secure session settings and regenerates session identifiers during authentication to reduce the risk of session hijacking.
Booking and job information
When you submit a cleaning request, the system records the service you selected, your property details, requested date and time, estimate, contact details and any instructions you entered. An administrator may later assign a staff member, confirm the job, adjust the final price or update the status as the booking moves through the service process. These records are needed to schedule the work, communicate with the customer and maintain a history of appointments.
For portal-managed jobs, cleaning technicians may upload completion photos. Those images are used to document completed work and allow the client or an administrator to review the result. Staff are instructed to use completion photos for the cleaning workflow rather than intentionally capturing private documents, computer screens or unrelated personal items. Clients should still remove or cover sensitive material before a cleaning appointment where practical.
Completion images are resized by the application to reduce unnecessary storage and improve performance. Uploaded files are stored with randomized filenames and protected upload handling. The website is configured to prevent uploaded script files from being executed from the completion-photo directory.
Enquiries, reviews and communications
If you send a contact form, we store the name, email address, phone number if supplied, subject and message so the team can respond. If you submit a public review, the name, role or relationship, neighborhood, rating and review text you choose to provide can be stored for moderation. Reviews are not automatically treated as private correspondence, so please do not include personal access details, account information or other information you would not want displayed publicly.
The booking system may send transactional email, such as a booking request confirmation, where email delivery is enabled on the hosting account. These messages are intended to support the service you requested. We may also contact you about changes to a booking, questions about access, invoices, completion review or other operational matters connected to your account or appointment.
Technical information and security
Like most websites, the server may create ordinary technical logs containing information such as request time, requested page, browser or device details and network information needed for security, diagnostics and hosting operations. The application itself also maintains an activity log for selected management actions. These records can help investigate problems, protect the platform and understand changes made to bookings or accounts.
The application uses parameterized PDO database queries to reduce the risk of SQL injection. The SQLite database is designed to be stored outside the public web directory so it cannot be downloaded directly by visiting a website address. Access to administrative, staff and client areas is controlled by authenticated user roles. Cross-site request forgery tokens are used on state-changing forms, and session cookies are configured with HttpOnly and SameSite protections.
No internet-connected service can promise absolute security. We therefore encourage customers and staff to use unique passwords, keep account credentials private, sign out on shared devices and contact us promptly if they believe an account has been accessed without permission.
Retention and access
Information is kept for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain booking and invoice records, resolve disputes, meet business recordkeeping needs or protect the platform. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods. For example, an active customer account and associated booking history may need to remain available for longer than a general contact enquiry that has been resolved.
If you want to ask what information we hold about your account, correct inaccurate profile information or request that information be deleted where deletion is appropriate, contact us using the details on this page. Some information may need to be retained where it forms part of a legitimate transaction, invoice, dispute record, security log or other record that the business reasonably needs to keep.
Third-party services and links
This website may link to external services such as WhatsApp or other websites. When you follow an external link, the privacy practices of that provider apply to your interaction with their service. 247 Cleaning Solutions does not control the privacy policies of independent third-party websites. The current platform is designed to remain lightweight and self-hosted, with the core booking data stored in its own SQLite database.
If payment processing, analytics, mapping, email delivery or another third-party integration is added later, this policy should be updated to describe that provider and the information shared with it. The same applies if the business changes how marketing communications or cookies are used.
Policy updates
This privacy policy may be updated as the website, booking platform or business processes change. Material changes should be reflected on this page. Customers who have questions about how their information is handled can contact 247 Cleaning Solutions directly rather than relying on assumptions about how the website works.
